Dr. Insalaco joined the Core Flower Mound team in October 2023.

She originally hails from Chicago, Illinois, where she played high school water polo at St. Ignatius. A consummate athlete, Dr. Insalaco was part of the 2013 team, winning the school’s first State Championship trophy and was awarded first team All American.

Dr. Insalaco then attended Mercyhurst University in Eerie, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Sports Medicine. While there, she continued to compete in water polo at the collegiate level. She furthered her education and in 2020 she received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Gannon University. She is currently undergoing her fellowship training for manual therapy.

Rebecca knows the importance of staying active, being an athlete, and the impact an injury can have on quality of life. Because of this, she loves working with patients to help them decrease pain, improve function, return to sports, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. She strives to create detailed exercise programs that are specific to patients’ injuries and helping them work towards their goals.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her dog.
