Dr. James Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2002 from Dallas Christian College. He decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor after he sustained several injuries in jiu-jitsu and saw how beneficial chiropractic care was in not only healing his injuries, but in improving his over-all health and well being. His Doctorate of Chiropractic was completed at Parker College of Chiropractic in December of 2006. He then decided to move to Flower Mound to run his chiropractic clinic and raise his family.
Dr. Brown lives in Flower Mound with his wife, Jennifer, and their two boys, Jake and Max. Their entire family visits the clinic in Flower Mound once a week for their adjustments. The children have been receiving chiropractic adjustments since they were born, and Jennifer, who used to suffer from chronic tension headaches, is now completely pain free. She said when asked about headaches and chiropractic care: “I can’t believe that I had been living in pain for so long, and that the solution was so simple. I now recommend that everyone see a chiropractor on a regular basis, it’s amazing how great you can feel!”.
Dr. James Brown loves being a chiropractor in Flower Mound, and his patients have become like family. Some have been coming to him since the day he started working in Flower Mound, and continue to see only him, even as they move out of the area. Several patients make the drive from Fort Worth and Dallas so he can continue to be their chiropractor.
Dr. Brown unequivocally puts his patients’ needs first. He takes the time to listen, and truly understand their pain and their individual needs. He sees patients with migraines, sciatica, carpal tunnel, shoulder pain, neck and back pain, scoliosis, rheumatoid arthritis, elbow and wrist pain, hip, knee and ankle pain. As a chiropractor in Flower Mound, Dr. Brown’s patients have a wide variety of needs and he treats a wide variety of patients. He provides chiropractic care for infants, children, teens, adults and the elderly; athletes (from young athletes to professional); motor-vehicle accident patients and workers comp patients. He is known for his genuine and caring nature, and will never be rushed when meeting with and caring for a patient. Dr. Brown’s Flower Mound clinic is a true rehabilitation clinic offering a wide variety therapies. “My goal is for everyone to be pain free WITHOUT surgery” Dr. Brown said recently, “Surgery should be the absolute last recourse”.
Dr. Brown proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. He continues his commitment to the U.S.M.C.’s charity “Toys for Tots” with an annual toy drive at Core Chiropractic and Physical Medicine in Flower Mound in November and December.
His hobbies include mixed martial arts, traveling, hunting, fishing and snowboarding.
